SLC-S25/W5- Movie Snapshots| Animated Magic

What are animated movies or film?

Animated film is a genre of film that uses animation, stories, and characters to create a film using drawings or computer-generated imagery (CGI). Animation is a technique that creates the appearance of movement and change by rapidly displaying a series of still images. Animated films, unlike live-action films, use drawings of a fictional world and computer-generated images instead of real-world images. Animated films are used for entertainment purposes for both children and adults. Animated films can convey fictional stories and ideas in unique ways. Also, take the view to the imaginary or fantasy world. Listed below are some good and hit animated movies:

Rio 1 and 2
Angry Birds
Finding Nemo
Mulan
Kung Fu Panda
How to train your dragon (Trilogy)
Life of Bugs
Cars (Trilogy)
Spirit - Stallion of the Cimmaron
Coco
The Legend of Prince Ram
Incredibles
Monsters Inc. and University
Ants
Zootopia
Tangled
Madagascar
Ice Age ( all 6)

Watch an animated film (any age group, any style).

One of my favorite animated movies are Rio and Rio 2. Rio is a 2011 animated musical comedy-drama film produced by Blue Sky Studios and directed by Carlos Saldanha. The film's title refers to the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It stars Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, William, and Jamie Foxx. A sequel, Rio 2, was released in 2014.

When this movie was released, I went to the theater with my kids and watched it wearing 3D glasses. At that time, my youngest daughter was 10 years old. My two daughters were also children. It was a great experience to watch this 3D movie with them. Now this movie is available for free on Jio Hotstar. You can also watch it.

"Rio" is about a bird named Blue's adventures. In the Amazon rainforest of South America, it lives contentedly as a baby bird. However, it is taken to Minnesota by bird smugglers after being captured. A little girl named Linda saves it after it falls off a truck there. Linda calls it Blue. They grow close over the years as she takes good care of it. Later, when Linda is an adult, she runs a small bookstore, and Blue is always by her side. Blue can't fly as other birds do, as he became a pet to Linda.

One day, Dr. Barbosa enters her bookshop. He is an ornithologist from Rio, surprised on seeing Blue in the shop because Blue is the only remaining male of the blue macaw species, and Dr. Barbosa has the last female macaw. He believes that if they are put together, they can mate and save the species. Reluctantly, Linda and Blue go to Dr. Barbosa's bird rescue center in Rio. There, Blue meets his new partner, Jewel. At first they don't get along because Jewel sees Blue as a pet. But the movie turned thrilling when they were kidnapped by bird smugglers and put in a cage. Another adventure begins. The rest of the movie tells how the Blue learned fly and save his life

The main message of this film is that protecting endangered rare wildlife species is important and also that it is important to be loyal and never give up when you love someone or something. Linda shows these qualities in taking care of her pet Blue. Values that you can reinforce with your children in this film include trust, love, and loyalty.

Another thing is that we can talk about how to resolve conflicts. Many of the conflicts in the film are resolved through physical fights. We can talk about other ways to resolve problems and arguments.

Which age group prefers the animated film you have seen above and say why?

I love to watch this movie with kids, especially enjoying the music and dance played in the movie. My kids were enjoying wath the songs, and even though they were practicing them at home, all the songs were amazing. Generally, animated films are made for children aged 5 and up. However, some films contain scenes of violence and murder, which should be avoided. The film I mentioned also had some such scenes. Since they are birds, I don't think children will be affected. Perhaps if there were human animations, they would be very affected.

The above-said film contains scenes of violence. For example:

Jewel assaults Blue after locking him in her cage. From a bird rescue center, Blue and Jewel are taken hostage. A ferocious parrot named Nigel terrorizes them while they are in a cage. In addition to frightening the other birds in the cages, Nigel also topples their enclosures. Nigel takes one of the monkeys and drops it after threatening to get them to do what he wants.

The film also contains some sexual references. For example:

In the hopes that they will mate and have children, Blue and Jewel are left together. Giving them some privacy is something that the other characters discuss. Blue receives guidance on how to 'get that girl' throughout the movie. The movie contains some drug use. Dr. Barbossa and Linda, for instance, pair their meals with alcohol. The movie contains some sexual content. For instance, two parrots share a kiss. I highly recommend this film only for kids older than ten.

Mention some of the challenges you went through while watching the animated film if there was no challenge, tell us the things that interested you In the movie.

When I saw this movie in the theater, my husband and kids were there. Also, some parents especially male audiens were there. When Blue was with his girlfriend, Dr. Barbosa was teaching her how to have sex. It was so ridiculous. It made me a little uncomfortable when it was with the kids.

At the same time, even though Linda appears in a bikini and drinks alcohol, it seems very different to children in countries like India. They have never seen women here in such clothes. I think that such films may affect the culture of the Indian people.

I would like to invite

Thank you for participating in this challenge of season 25.

Oh yes! I have seen this animated movie and guess what? You are definitely right with what you said about the movie. Sometimes I feel like many animated movies are now too intense for our kids.

Yes, am happy you also agreed my suggestions. Thank you for the great review and the score

Me gustó el análisis que hiciste sobre la película. Me imagino que el "toque picante" relacionado con lo sexual y con las escenas de agresividad se hacen con el objetivo de mostrar ese otro lado de la realidad. Sin embargo, a veces se dan excesos.

Thank you for the compliments and your valuable time

Hi dear ma'am, congratulations for a good work done by you.I also like this picture.

Thank you very much.
