Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 82, Conflict and resolution.
Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed "Conflict and Resolution" as part of my participation in this 👉contest
In your sentence, what do you think conflict means?
When two or more people have misunderstandings, disagreements, or clashes between themselves due to their individual opinions or interests, there is a conflict. This simply means conflict means having a disagreement or clash with someone else. It can happen between people, communities, or countries due to differences in values, opinions, or misunderstandings.
In the case of River State politics, there is a conflict between the governor and 27 members of the River State House of Assembly who are loyal to Chief Wike, which has led to the declaration of a state of emergency to resolve the conflict in River State.
Mention at least 4 ways conflict can be resolved in the workplace, at home, or among friends
The four ways conflict can be resolved in the workplace, at home, or among friends are mentioned below:
- Open communication
- Active Listening
- Meditation
- Compromise
Open communication helps to encourage honest and respectful discussions for people to understand each other perspectives better.
Active listening helps people to understand and acknowledge the feelings of each other.
Meditation helps those who are having conflict to find a Fajr solution to their conflict.
Compromise is about finding a middle ground where both people who are involved in conflict can make concessions.
Have you conflicted with anyone before? How was it resolved?
Yes, I have conflicted with someone before, which I resolved by clarifying my misunderstanding with the people with which I provided the person with neutral information and encouraged both of us to have a respectful and peaceful dialogue. I invited the person to a place that was calm and called our mentor to stand neutral in our case, who then acted in favor of no one and resolved our conflict at the end of the day, we both hugged each other, smiled, sought forgiveness, and went our separate ways happily.
Thank you for publishing an article in the Steem4nigeria community today. We have assessed your entry and we present the result of our assessment below.
