My Neighborhood Watch #85 - Reporting Events Around us

It was a usual and normal day at my work place when everybody was busy with the duties assign to him or her to do when we started hearing a group of voice shouting "make una come ohh" and when i spy through the window first i taught it was and accident but because i saw people running towards the roads little did i know it was a thief.

So the gathering there attracted me to come outside and see for my self with some of my colleagues which we went there with so much curiosity in each of us our faces like an inspector who wants to find out what actually happened.
As we reached the place we saw a man sitting down on the ground crying bitterly and immediately i felt so pity for him because he was badly beaten till the point that blood started coming out from his mouth and his body was shivering assive he is feeling cold and even with that they are still beating him with so much anger for him to say the truth.

So i ask one of the people there what did he do and the person started narrating the story that this very man am seeing here came to this POS point with one of his friend that they wants to withdraw some money and they gave the pos guy their ATM card and when he input it inside the POS machine automatically it will show "error card please remove", so after several trial all to no avail so one of them ask him to please give him the fifty thousand naira that he wanted to withdraw let him go to the bank which is not that far from that location and find out what is the problem so that when he comes back they will complete the transaction but the guy refuse that he can't take such risk even when the man pleading with different excuses.

Later one of them agreed to stay back so that he will give the money to the other person since they say it's something urgent they need to do in the bank, so after about and hour the other person have not come back from the bank he claimed he went to, that was when the guy started suspect that this people are trying to play game with him so he pretended assive everything was fine and started watching the man carefully to see his next action.

Not quite after some minutes the other guy called his friend and he told the pos guy that he is done with what he went to do in the bank that he will be there in a short while for the guy anxiousness to reduce, not knowing is part of their plans to scam the guy so immediately the guy phone rang again this time the person was just saying "hello" repeatedly that he can't hear him maybe he shift from his current location so that he can be able to hear him clearly.

So as he went out of the shop the pos guy quickly dial a number of one of his friend who have a shop close to the place that he should watch over that man for him because his mind is telling him that something fishy wants to happen when the man was just making the phone call towards the roadside the pos guy called him and he pretended assive he didn't he and continue with the phone call not knowing that somebody was close to him.

When he turned he noticed that the pos guy is not too close to him that was when he wanted to run away and the pos guy friend caught him on his clothes he was struggle with the guy that was when people started coming from all directions when he was shouting make una come ohhhh he is a thief and that was how he was caught and there ask him to call his friend which is the other guy that collected the fifty thousand claiming he is going to the bank and when he dialed the number the phone was switch off and that was how they continue beating him until the police came took over the case to the station that was how it all ended.
