Noodles, one of Nigerian's easiest fast food.
Noodles popularly known as 'INDOMIE' by Nigerians is one of the simplest things to make for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Yes, there is no time Nigerians don't eat noodles.
A lot of people in Nigeria call all brands of noodles INDOMIE. I am guilty of this too. 😅 INDOMIE is actually a name of a brand, a brand that produces and sell noodles but you could hear Nigerians say something like this;
'I wan buy Supreme Indomie'.
Supreme is a different brand that sells noodles too and indomie is another brand too but it's alright; we are Nigerians, we understand ourselves. 😹
Today, I'll show you a simple step of how I love and prepare my INDOMIE. Oh, sorry, noodles.
I love SUPREME noodles. To me, they don't get soggy and they taste cool. One is sold for 250 naira. On a very good day, I can finish four of its 70 grams. Not too much for a beautiful lady, right? 🥲
We'll start by lighting up our cooking gas. We'll wash our cooking pot too.
The next thing is putting some decent amount of clean water inside our pot and we'll allow it to boil.
When our water is at its highest boiling point, we'll put our noodles inside.
Here you go, a well half-cooked noodles.
We didn't want to drain it. So, we didn't add too much water. I've been using the WE pronoun, that's because we are doing the cooking together.
While we were cooking the noodles, we chopped our tomatoes, pepper and onions. These portions will be use for the noodles and eggs. We don't want too much, right?
In a clean pan, we went in with our groundnut oil.
We fried my chopped onions, pepper and tomatoes.
We added our seasons.
We fried the noodles too.
Here you go. We added a little water for it to be perfectly well cooked.
We'll have to allow the water dry up.
Here you go. It's best paired with fried eggs.
I hope you try this on your own. Thank you so much.
