It's always exciting to make post in a community like Steem4Nigeria. Before I start I would like to invite two fellow Steemians @crismenia and @eveetim to participate in the contest.

The fast onto death protest by the junior doctors in West Bengal has turned serious with the fifth doctor being hospitalized after she complained of nausea with decreased blood pressure & glucose. So far five doctors on Hunger Strike have been hospitalized after 11 Junior doctors started a fast onto death protest on the 5th of October. The doctors are protesting over various demands in the wake of the August rape and murder of a female PGT doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.

Yesterday the Junior doctors took out a march to the governor's house against the slow pace of the CBI investigation into the RG Kar Hospital incident.

The West Bengal Chief secretary has urged The Joint Platform of Doctors to call off their plan demonstration on the 15th in view of the Durga Puja Carnival. He also held a meeting with the JPD at the State Health Department headquarters to discuss their demands.

In response the junior doctors have expressed disappointment over the state decision to proceed with the carnival while doctors are on the streets demanding a safer Health Care Systems.

The fifth hearIng of the case at Suprime Court under the bench of honorable CJI will be held today at 2PM.

The Durga Puja was also celebrated with equal spirit among some enthusiasts. I was also no exception to that.

I wanted to visit mainly the majority of Aristocrat family Pujas of Kolkata which are also known as Bonedi Barir Pujo.

The Sabarna Roy Paribarer Puja held at Barisha home in the year 1610 entered into 415 years considered as oldest Puja in West Bengal Before Kolkata was born.

On the Ashtami I somehow managed to go to Pathariya Ghat Street where most of the houses held Durga Puja once upon a time. Now I saw only four Bonedi family Puja. The palacious building with courtyard ideal to celebrate the Durga Puja remained close in another time of the year. One interesting thing I noticed is that the idol is probably placed on thorn which was originally made of precious metal. Babu Khilat Chandra Ghosh was the founder of the Palace.

Honestly speaking I just visited the place for the first time though I was born at LOHIA MATRI SEWASADAN opposite Pathariya Ghat Street about more than five decades ago. This has been possible because of Steemit and My neighbourhood watch contest.
