Must you have a degree before you have a well paying job? Explain with experiences if any

According to my experience and what I've observed around me as a student, for example, when I go to my university, I see students who haven't even completed their degrees yet, but they are working part time jobs. In my opinion, for these jobs, no specific degree is needed; it's more about having skills.

Many of my friends are school teachers, and they are teaching as well. So, we just need to have good skills. For example, if I talk about my friends who are teaching, their communication skills are very strong, and their teaching style is excellent, which is why they were selected as school teachers.

They had to pass many tests to get selected, and they worked very hard. So, for a job, we need both a degree and enabling skills. Our communication should be good, and we should have good experience in the field from which we are trying to get a job.

For example, I am a computer science student, and in this field, a degree isn't always necessary. What we need are skills. Once we have the skills, we can get a job in a software house or any company.

There's a student in our class who has developed skills in website development, and she is working a part time job while attending college, even though she doesn't have a degree yet. But she has a job because she has experience and is interested in it.

So, if we have the skills, we can get a job. Our teachers also emphasize this in every lecture, saying that until we have skills, our degree will be of no use, and no one will give us a job.

Is the contest title trying to condemn education?

No, I don't think the contest title is condemning formal education. It simply asks whether formal education is the only way to achieve financial freedom. Based on my experience, in our country, this is not the case at all.

After completing a degree, many people still struggle to find jobs, and in today's world, skills are often more valuable. If we excel in a particular skill, it becomes much easier for us to get a job. Once we learn the necessary skills, we can secure a job without necessarily needing formal education or a degree.

However, formal education is still a path for us especially for government jobs. For having such jobs, a degree is beneficial because it allows us to apply for those positions, which typically offer good pay and job security ,it is one path to financial freedom, it is not the only one.

Is it dangerous to have the view that you can only make money after schooling?

Yes, it is dangerous to believe that you can only make money after completing schooling. From a young age, we are often taught that only good grades and high marks will lead to success. This creates pressure, making us feel that if we don’t excel in studies, we won’t be successful in life, that was depressing for me as an average student.

I have experienced this myself. However, in today’s world, skills play a much bigger role. If someone is skilled in a certain area, they should work hard to improve it. While education and earning a degree are important, they don’t guarantee a job after graduation.

For example, many YouTubers don’t have formal degrees, but they create content, make videos, and earn a good income because people like what they offer. Similarly, many singers and musicians may not have formal education, but they succeed because they focus on their craft and work hard in their field.

We should focus on developing our skills and work hard in whatever field we are passionate about. A degree doesn’t guarantee a job or success it’s the skills and effort we put into our work that matter the most.

How has steemit proven that you must not finish school before you start making money?

Yes, Steemit has proven that you don’t need to finish school or have a degree to start making money. After joining Steemit, I realized that I don't necessarily need a formal job or a degree to earn money. It is a platform that gives everyone an equal opportunity, whether you have a degree or not.

We can share your experiences, daily life, and thoughts and earn money through your content. It's like a part time job for me, but it can also become a full time job.

For me, it is a great platform iit allows me to earn while continuing my studies. I can focus on my education and still earn money in my free time. Also I gain valuable experience on Steemit by learning from others and engaging with different kinds of content. It’s not demanding, and I can work on it whenever I want, sharing quality content and receiving rewards.

My family used to tell me that only a good degree would get me a job. However, even though I haven’t completed my degree yet, I’m already earning on Steemit while managing my studies.

I feel satisfied because I’m not wasting my time on social media. Instead, I’m focused on both my education and earning through Steemit, making it a productive use of my time as a student.

Great points! With online learning at its peak right now, traditional degrees are becoming less needed, but still something that makes employment easier.
