Contest; Oh! I Wish

"OH I WISH"

Good day my fellow Steemians.I am so excited about participating in this context "oh I wish". A wish is a desire or hope for something or for something to happen which is similar to dreams but most wishes are fantasies and they do not come true. There are a lot of things I wished to have, a lot of things I wished I had and a lot of things I wish to have, to be and lots more but I just keep wishing even though some wishes are impossible.

When I was Little, I used to say to myself "if I become the President", I will give free food to everyone in the world but wishes change as one grows. Now, what I wish I could change about the world is the class distinction. People in the world are classified into upper class, middle class and lower class. The lower class being the least suffers a lot of prejudice, injustice and lots more in different countries, tribe and nationality.

I wish I could make everyone equal without any class distinction. Everyone should have the same opportunity, the same right as others without discrimination. Now that the way of living in the world is becoming more expensive, the upper class still gains favor, the upper class are thriving leaving the middle class and lower class to wallow in poverty. I wish I could change that.

Growing up I watched a lot of cartoons and TV shows most of the contents being about super human and superpowers and one of the super powers that intrigued me most is "Time travelling". If I could have any superpower I would become a time traveler because I would love to travel into the future, my future, and see what it holds aghast for me.

I would love to rewind time and make it favourable for me, I would love to hasten the time so I would reach my dream and future goals and ambitions faster I would also love to become a time traveler so I can erase the mistakes I made in the past and prevent future mistakes and prepare myself for what is coming ahead and what lies in store for me in the future.

The wish of having superpowers as a time traveler is impossible. It is impossible to see the future because only God can see the future and he is the only one who can predict the future and knows what lies in store for us in the future. No mere human like me can see the future. Seers deceive people that they are blessed with the ability and power of seeing the future which is a lie and it is a scheme deployed to make believe and extort money from their clients. One cannot see the future, one can only plan and secure his Future.

Looking back in the past there are regrets I have and wished it could be undone. One thing I wish I had done differently in the past was admitting my mistake and pleading for forgiveness.I wish I had apologized to my best friend for hurting her terribly rather I let my pride take the best of me and cut off ties with her.

And now she's dead and I haven't made up with her. Thinking about it I feel so bad that I had not apologized to her before she died. So I have to live with that guilt for as long as I live.

Since I was a little girl my wish was to help people and treat the sick and dying. That zeal to help motivated me to study nursing science in school. Even though I am working towards that goal, my wish for the future is to become a registered nurse and midwife who will be willing to treat and provide comprehensive nursing care to my patients and give them reassurance and comfort throughout their stay in the hospital while leaving the rest to God proving true to the motor of the nursing profession "WE TREAT BUT GOD HEALS". That is my greatest wish.
