Currently I reside in Benin Republic—country where their currency is higher than Naira. Just imagine, ever since the former president of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari came into power, Naira begin to depreciates in the eyes of Cefa.

S/NNigeria currencyConversion of Nigeria currency to CefaResult in Cefa
11000 naira1000 × 0.348348 Cefa
22000 naira2000 × 0.348696 Cefa
33000 naira3000 × 0.3481044 Cefa
44000 naira4000 × 0.3481392 Cefa
55000 naira5000 × 0.3481740 Cefa
66000 naira6000 × 0.3482088 Cefa

However, if you're opportune to work in Benin Republic and earn in Cefa, you are a billionaire. As of recent, Earning in Cefa, is like earning in Dollar. Imagine sending 1 million Cefa to your parent in Nigeria, when they convert it, it would be otherwise:

S/NCefa CurrencyConversionNaira results
11 million Cefa1,000,000 × 2.72.7 million naira
2100,000 Cefa100,000 × 2.7270,000 naira
310,000 Cefa10,000 × 2.727,000 naira.

You will enjoy if you're in Benin Republic.

Yes! There's this truth that Benin Republic is not big in landmass. Their mass is very very small, as compared to Abia state in Nigeria. But their laws are not jeopardize with, this laws are very very strict and implemented by all citizens.

Infact, there's one that permit Landlord to arrest any official personality that bounces into his compound from 9pm without requesting for permission.

People of Benin Republic are called Béninois.

From 6am till 3pm, their greeting language remain the same. You greet Bonjour and then attach sign of recognition with it, meaning Good morning. From 3pm till down, you greet Bonsoir, meaning Good Evening.
The following are the various recognitions and their meaning

  • Monsieur = Sir
  • Madame = Madam (married)
  • Oncle = Uncle
  • Soeur = Sister
  • Fils = Son
  • Taunt = Auntie
  • Mademoiselle = Miss (not married)
  • Grand frère or Tonton = Big bro
  • Frère = brother
  • Garçon = Boy
  • Femme = woman

In conclusion, Benin Republic is one of the most abundant site to live. Believe me, if you're earning in Cefa, by now, you must've build houses

I invite @eglis, @chisom77 and @benton3 to participate
