Diary Game {How I Spent my Yesterday} 9/7/2025

in Steem4Nigerialast month

Good morning Steemites, I trust you had a good night rest, yesterday was Tuesday, a very busy and rainy day and I was so busy throughout the day at the office. I work as a secretary in Nnewi, Anambra state Nigeria and I usually go by 7:30am against 8:00am because in the company where I work, 8:01 you are already late and ₦700 subcharge will be deducted from your monthly salary. As a secretary, I am part of the management team and as a management staff, coming to work late should be far from us. At work I was so busy thinking of what to eat when I come back from work

This is a picture of me when I was done getting ready for work in the morning and this was already some minutes past 7:00am. I had to leave early for work because that is how Tuesdays always are.

This was me leaving my compound and approaching the gate.

I had to go with my umbrella because the Sky was looking pregnant and cloudy and even if it didn't rain in the morning, it could rain in the evening When I'm about coming Back home. My closing time from work is 6:00pm

This is what my street looks like, it's not a tiled road and it's full of sand. I love the environment because it's a stone throw to my office and it has security and street light too.

This is what the entrance to my street looks like. There is a little iron gate that is usually locked on Mondays during sit at home and at night from 12pm. Cars are not allowed to enter during those periods.

When I got to work I got overly busy and engrossed with work that I couldn't take much pictures of myself on seat

I was already thinking of what to prepare after work and i thought to myself, why not make rice and spaghetti. So when I got home around 6:00pm, I strted putting things together in order to make the meal.

This is the spaghetti I used, the IRS premium spaghetti. I love it for it's great taste and strength to withstand hot water and not being over cooked.

This was When I added my spaghetti to the rice that was already half cooked and allowed both to mix up properly while i prepared my ingredients for the main deal

PREPARATION PROCEDURE
After parboiling my rice and spaghetti, I poured it into a sieve and removed the water. I placed my dry pot on the fire then added my groundnut oil. I added my onion and stirred together. I added my tomato paste and fried a little then started adding my ingredients to the tomato, I added my curry leaf together and fried a little to bring out it's aroma. After some minutes i added small water and stirred to cook for five minutes then I washed my rice and put in the pot.

I stirred to combine and when the water was dried up I had added my peeled boiled eggs and I brought it down
