Diary Game|| 27 - 02 - 2025 || I Took my Sick Baby to the Hospital

Dear diary,

Today being Thursday was the fourth day my baby has been in pains, today I woke up worried about my child's (son's) health which started since Monday being 24th of this month of February 2025. My child has never been sick since birth, we have never had any challenge related to his health right from the day he was born; he has always been full of energy, strength and vigor as well as active. Last Monday being 24th of February 2025 changed the narrative completely in a dramatic way but all thanks to God for the great deliverance.

Since Monday we've been referred to different hospitals, this very hospital is the 3rd hospital within these three (3) days we have consulted seeking for solutions. Today in spite of the different hospitals we have been the night was very painful to my lovely Baby to a point that I felt that if it is within my power I would have wished to take the pains he is going through upon myself.
I tried all I could to pacify him but to no avail, I wanted to take him to hospital in the middle of the night but I thought in my heart that I may not see a professional doctor at that time and will not want him to under go any other treatment error.
Another thing also is that our place here is suffering insecurity which going out by this time may expose us to danger.

Very early today considering his pain I called the doctor that was currently treating him to update her regarding the prevail situation of his health to know what next even before the scheduled appointed time we were asked to returned to the hospital. The doctor suggested that we returned now immediately without wasting time before the scheduled time, she was willing to evaluate the situation even though our appointment time is not yet.
By this time the mother had bath him already, so therefore we rushed with him to the doctor at the hospital, reaching the hospital the doctor cross-examined him and since she sensed that the problem is beyond her capacity; she immediately referred us to another specialist hospital with a note. At this time I knew that we needed to put our total trust and hope on God for divine intervention.

The doctor helped us to get a vehicle which we boarded to the hospital, upon getting the hospital we were received and they offered us sit to sit down and wait for the doctor whom was already in the office. Without much delay we were later directed to the consultation room to meet the doctor, the doctor asked us some series of questions and after which he crossed examine the boy and later suggested that before the general test would be carried the boy will need some treatment particularly they need to drip the boy because he looks very weak and also, he was running out of temperature and was in so much pains.

After the first aid treatment he fall asleep, the doctor instructed us to carefully observe the boy so that he will not temper with the canular inserted in his vein for the drip to pass through. The boy was not comfortable with the canular inserted in his hand and began to struggle and crying to get rid of it, so we have to hold him tight as you can see in the picture below to stop him.

After some time the effects of the injections made him to sleep off which gave us some little relief as you can see in the picture below.

I went out to look for food to eat with my wife, going out of the hospital the price of food per plate was very high, and considering the expenses from one hospital to another I was almost already getting cashless.

I decided to just look for something simple like soft drinks and snacks which was bread and fanta for my wife and an energy drink for myself. To get the kind of bread I wanted took me a lot of walk around the town and even inside the market as you can see in the pictures above.

We spend almost the whole day inside the hospital before the proscribed drips where administered completely. After all we returned home with him in the evening using the tricycle as you can see in the picture below, but we were expected to go return in the morning the next day.

When I reached home I showered . I ate my dinner which was cooked by my wife as you can see in the picture below.

That was all for the day, I spent the remaining day with my family after which we all retired to bed.
