Steam is a great platform that connects people just like other social media platforms. These people could be from different states, countries and regions that you comment on and share ideas through. The interaction friendships are built. I have made lots of friends in Steemit, and we interact as if we have met or known each other before now.
I must say I have benefited from this connection, which has helped me learn, remain and improve in the platform. I have known some countries I have not been to from some contests put up here, where different people talk about their country, food, and culture. All these keep us connected.
My activities in the Steemit community make me part of this platform. Which includes my publications, quality commenting, the upvotes I do, resteem and following friends. It makes me remain active as I ensure that my blog does not lack active posts. It makes me active and have that feeling of being part of the community

Steemit is sustained by the quality interaction and posts we do, which gives the platform growth and gives us earnings. Supporting each other to grow encourages us to remain on the platform, making the Steemit community relevant.
The community is a big one for everyone we need to help and support each other, check on your inactive recruits or friends, put them through anywhere they find it difficult, interact, comment on people's posts, and upvote on people's posts These are some of the ways we can support each other to keep the community running.

Like every other organisation or platform, there will always be new members who need assistance to understand their new family. It is a collective effort to enable them to settle in.
We must Readily be available to direct and reply to their question as they are curious at this early stage to know everything in Steemit. Check on them when they do not have active posts on their pages, guide them through their early days of blogging, mentor them, making sure they are given guidelines on how to make simple and quality publications without abusing the system with the use of AI and plagiarism, Account farming and Words spinning.

Steemit is one platform that has connected us with lots of people. Through this connection, we have learnt from each other which to some point have taught us some positive lessons and has also helped us to be better than we joined. Continuous support for each other is very important especially the newbies.
