Good morning my fellow steemians, @steemkids, today I will be participating on a contest by @ngoenyi on how we can make a child smile 😁

We all know that in some homes today, parents find it difficult to cater for their children, is even easier for the family that the both parents are alive than in the family of widows.

So today, I want to discuss on how I live my life with my fellow widows and their children, to my fellow steemians and how I always put a smile on their faces

How can you help and how have you helped? Who did you help and what did you help with

Like I said earlier that life is not all that easy in the life of widows, whyI like mentioning widow is that me as a widow I know how struggle I am before I can provide for my family but I know that with God all things are possible.But that one can not stop me from helping who I can help with a little I have.

To be kind nowadays is not too common and easy but I thank God almighty because he has used me to put a smile on some children faces

In my area, there's a boy I saw selling pure water on the street during school hours so my mind told me to confront him one day, when I ask the boy why he's not going to school he shade tears telling me that he's an orphan, when I asked him who he's staying with, he said he's alone just to sell the water to survive I was shocked, when I ask him if he can stay with me, he answered happily that he's willing to stay with me.

I was willing to take him to my house but I had to take him to his family relatives where he stays to make his family relatives to be aware that he's going to be staying with me from now henceforth,so after I met with his parents I took him to my house, I changed both his clothes and everything about him, I thank God for giving me the power to send him to school and am happy because the boy take the school very serious.

What need did you notice that the kids around you have?

As a mother, I need to know what children need, I know that staying with children in the house they will need clothes, foods, medical care, schools and even need some time to relax their selves for reading and doing their home work, when ever I give them this needs they feel happy.

How did you provide that need? It could be service or financial help

Like I said earlier, I love taking care of children and also draw them to myself, since my daughter is the only female child that I have, she like to carry children around her and anything I give to her, I give to the children also it can be material things , food and money. Like the boy that stay with me, I provide everything for him like food, clothes, including his school fees, the boy always feel excited whenever I give him something and that motivates me to do more and I thank God for using me to put a smile on the boy's face.

How does the child feel about that need?

We know that children are different, is not all children that can be boldly say their minds, we always use one parable which w says action speak louder than words, so I like to study children and know when they are in need, for example if my girl needs anything, she will be quiet and look at u or sometime she will look sad so if I notice things like that I will call her and ask her what happens and she will use the opportunity and tell me what she wants that's where I will know what she needs and immediately I provide her needs then she will be happy.

Conclusion

Once again I'll be appreciating madam @ngoenyi for organizing this amazing contest ,we all know that the world we are living today things are so critical and especially our country Nigeria the economy isn't encouraging, so before helping others willing isn't an easy thing. And I continue appreciating God almighty for giving me abilities and grace to help others. I'll be inviting some of my steemit friends to participate on this contest @toflex,@presh001,@ekemini01
