Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 73: Together as One

They is no doubt that this platform have brought many of us together. We are now a family, and anywhere we see ourselves, we will be very happy and jovial to each other.
I experienced this during my countries national meet-up. Seeing my steemit friends for the first time was a very wonderful moment we talked as if we had seen each other for a very long time.

How does Steemit connect people from different places?

Steemit is a very wonderful platform that has connected most of us to people abroad.
Through creating quality control, we gain visibility from steemians, and they might end up forming a good friendship with us because they have fallen in love with your content.

For me, I will say that meaningful engagement with steemians from different continents plays a major role in connecting us from and around the world.
I am saying this based on pass experience because all the steeminans that I have connected with are from engagement.

Once i create a good and quality comment on my steemit friends post and also reply to comment on my own post, we form a good relationship, and from there, we become good friends in the platform.
Through reading of other steemians content we become connected to each other as we gradually find out their way of living which might me similar to ours.

What makes you feel part of the Steemit community?

The support I get from the steemit team makes me feel part of the great body. We all know how this platform has impacted our financial lifestyle in a positive way.
I must confess that since i joined steemit my life have changed for good, I earn money every month in the platform just from blogging alone, they are some who do hard job and I still earn more then them.

For me to see an upvote notification from the chief curators, and also seeing myself being mentioned among the top post of the week and also winning some contest in community makes me feel comfortable and part of this platform.
Also, receiving guidelines from whales 🐋 and more experienced steemians makes me very happy and feel welcomed.

Also, the friendship connection from around the world makes me very proud of being a steeminan. Communicating with people from different continents makes me very happy and feel welcomed.
Because they don't like or welcome me, we won't have been communicating on social media.

Why is supporting each other important on Steemit?

Supporting each other is very important in this platform because it brings us together by creating a good relationship and also friendship outside this platform.
I believe that if we weren't supported when we joined this platform, then most of us would have left a long time ago.

I strongly believe that we all need motivation and support from people in our lives so that we can grow well. Some steemians angrily left this platform because they didn't receive support and encouragement from steemians.
Some powerd down their earnings due to lack of support, they are some users who spend hour's creating quality content but they don't get supported this will make them feel that this platform isn't for them.

Supporting each other is very important in maintaining togetherness in this platform, I believe if everyone gets supported, then this platform will gain more users and also grow from strength to strength.
Once we as steeminans support each other the platform will be a joyful and peaceful place to be, even if you don't get upvote more often the encouragement from your fellow steemians will keep you motivated to continue blogging.

How can we help new users feel welcome?

By helping new user feel welcome, we should try to encourage them to continue blogging if when they don't get upvotes because in steemit, upvote isn't guaranteed.
We should always provide them with guidelines and tips on how to become successful in this platform.
Always drop a meaningful and encouraging comment on their blog, and also, we should comment on their introductory post and tell them the necessary things they need to know about this platform.

When I first joined this platform as a newbie, my first vote from sc01 made me very happy and motivated to continue blogging.
I felt very welcome by everyone because I received positive messages from them.
Community owners should try to give them booming support, and moderators should always guide them to the right path this way, newbies will feel very welcomed, and they will be less power down in the platform.
