Explanation

---

Today, I am going to share a drawing of a rhinoceros with you. So, let’s see how I created this drawing.

Step 01

	Start to draw

First, I started by drawing the front part of the rhinoceros's face with a pencil and added two horns on its head.

Step 02

Next, I gradually sketched the upper part of its body. Then, I drew the rhinoceros’s eyes and its two front legs.

Step 03

	Hind legs

After that, I completed the back part of its body along with the two hind legs.

Step 04

Shading All Bodies

Using the pencil, I added details by drawing lines in different areas on the front and back of the body. I also added shading around the eyes, under the eyes, near the mouth, and on the knees.

Step 05

	Using pencil color

The drawing was now complete. Then I attempted to color it using a pencil. I colored the two hind legs, the horns, and the upper part of the body. In this way, I added color to the entire body. As you can see in the picture, the coloring of my rhinoceros is complete.

	Using Tag

Finally, I used a tag to capture a photo of the rhinoceros drawing.

Have you ever seen one?

I have seen a rhinoceros. At the National Zoo in Dhaka I have seen it once. It was walking inside a big enclosure. I was amazed with its large body, and one thick skinned with a horn on its head. It felt very special how it moved and looked around. It was an unbelievable experience to see that big animal up close.

What type of animal is it?

Rhinoceros is a big plant eating animal. Grasslands, forests and savannas are its home. There are some rhinos found in Africa and South Asia. Normally they live apart and require lots of area to roam. Not only strong and beautiful but they balance nature.

What are its characteristics?

Their skin looks as armor of rhinoceroses and protects them from harm. Their horn is made of keratin, the same stuff our nails are made of. This horn helps them fight and has made them safe.

Rhinos are very heavy but if danger, they can run fast. They don’t have very good eyes view, they have a very strong sense of smell and hearing.

Rhino eats grass, leaves and plants. Most of the time they are peaceful animals. They can become aggressive if they afraid. Unluckily too many rhinos are at risk because people kill them for their horns.
