The moment conflict occurs, it will not let the people rest because all our body systems will be disorganized, which sometimes hinders the development of a country by not allowing the country or group of people to move forward.

In your own sentence, what do you think conflict means?

Conflicts are situations where two or more people disagree about something important. Conflicts can lead to war or violence when one party does not agree with the viewpoint of another party because they believe that the outcome may not yield good results. As a result of these wars, many people have become homeless and property worth millions of naira has been lost.

Most conflicts that occur in the workplace or country result from different interests. Conflicts can also happen between husbands and wives when one spouse does not agree with the actions taken by the other. The word 'conflict' is common worldwide, representing the idea of two or more groups differing from each other, which can eventually lead to chaos in society. Conflict is natural and, in some cases, it can lead to growth or progress for the affected parties.

Mention at least 4 ways conflict can be resolved in workplace, home or among friends

To avoid conflict, we need to try not to let it escalate into something more dangerous. We want conflicts to be resolved amicably through the following ways.

• Communication: This is very important to allow peace to reign. open communication is necessary so that each person involved can express their feeling freely. let focus on the problem with the aim to solve it not what other people did to avoid unnecessary argument or disagreement.

• Listen attentively: It will be good to listen to what other people are saying without interfere in the matter. ask question to make sure you understand other people view of point or how they feel. listen to your colleagues at work because from their speech you can learning something that will benefit you.

• Collaboration: Collaborating with other member its essential because it will help us to address conflict that may occur between parties. collaborating is necessary in the workplace it help the team to discuss or address their misunderstanding that can destroy formation of the group.

• Compromise: Occurs when the parties agree by joining hands together to solve the conflict amicably. When the person realizes that their friends agree to settle the matter, he or she must also cooperate with them. We must try to talk to people who are involved in conflict separately because your advice or speeches can convince them to resolve the matter peacefully.

Yes, it's natural to engage in conflict with other people. Even if you try to avoid it, people will just bring out unnecessary thing that will frustrate your life. I am a peace-loving human being, but people will not allow that. I could remember when I engaged in conflict with my colleagues in the workplace. I didn't like how the old man addressed me. Although it started when he wanted to have conversations with a woman who just returned from annual leave.

The moment he wanted to greet the woman, she did not respond to him because they had some issues before he left the office. So, I wanted to intervene in the matter. The man insulted me, and I was so embarrassed to the extent that we continued to exchange words. We reported him to the appropriate authority, and they warned him not to engage in such bad behavior again. So, the man came to us, apologized for the mistake, and the issue was resolved amicably.
