My Neighborhood Watch #88 - Reporting Events Around us

It's my pleasure to share what is happening in my community and here is my contribution to the contest organized by @xckool24.

Construction of roads takes place in my hometown where the government spends millions of naira to renovate or construct new roads so that people can move freely from one place to another. From the above picture, you can see a large black rubber tank placed inside the truck to be used by the workers to wet the road and prevent dust, so that it could not affect the passersby.

This project takes place in Oja Oba Market in Ilorin. I quickly took the shot when I went to the pharmacy to purchase some drugs, so I decided to post it to show the world the kind of development happening in my city of residence. This present administration is doing its best in terms of infrastructure and ensuring regular payment of salaries to state workers.

Another segmentation of road construction is taking place in Okolowo area where accidents normally occur, especially when people try to cross the road. People frequently die on this road instead of the government building a flyover in that junction to reduce accidents from happening.

They are building a midblock to separate the road. The road is an expressway where travelers use it to travel to the northern state. Some trailers may not be able to wait, or their brakes may fail, which will eventually cause accidents. The senator representing the senatorial district is discussing it in the Red Chamber up to this moment no positive reply.

Reporting events in our community will help us to be more updated about what is currently happening in our locality. I would like to invite @impersonal, @ridwant and @suboohi to participate in this contest.
