Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 90: My Life as a Student or Worker
Assalamu Alaikum,
Hello everyone,
I am @afrinn
From #Bangladesh
Assalamu Alaikum, by the grace of Allah, everyone is well and healthy. Alhamdulillah, I am also well and healthy. Today I am going to participate in a competition, I hope you all like it, let's start.
Are you currently a worker or a student? How do you feel about what you are currently doing?
I am currently a worker. A housewife who manages the house and family and a very good worker. I will talk a little about my current situation. Currently, I have two children at home.
And I have a sick mother-in-law at home with both daughters. I spend my whole day dealing with them. And besides, if there is a sick person at home, I have to take care of him more. Moreover, I have two children who are very young. I spend my whole day with them. I will say that the days are as good and beautiful as possible.
Now I am mentioning the types of work that I have in my family below
- Regularly cleaning the house. Sweeping the room
- Cooking for everyone in the morning, noon and night
- My mother-in-law washes my and my children's clothes regularly
- Making tea and bread at night
- Children need to be taught to read and write.
All in all, I am doing such work for the family and to keep the family happy. These works can be considered as a worker.
What challenges have you faced as a student or worker? Do you sometimes want to give up?
Since I am a housewife. There are various types of housewife's work at home. My father-in-law died two years ago. Earlier, my father-in-law had complete responsibility. After my father-in-law died, my mother-in-law took responsibility for the family and us for a while. When my mother-in-law became very ill due to brain stroke.
Since then, she could not take responsibility for our family and our responsibilities. Rather, I have faced all these responsibilities and challenges. The entire responsibility of a family is on me. The reason is that my husband is far away from me. Starting from the shop to the children's education, I have to take the entire responsibility of the mother-in-law and the children. And what is more, I have had to take all the responsibilities of the family myself.
However, I am very happy to have the responsibility of my family. I have been able to create my family with my own will and freedom. And I am not going to give up on that.
What helped you to overcome the challenges you faced as a student or worker?

As I said earlier, I am a girl and a housewife. When I got married, I could not take the responsibility of the family and did not understand what the situation was like. I think it will take some time for people to understand. And it also requires a lot of patience to deal with it. However, my husband has helped me as much as possible. And has given me knowledge about how to be responsible towards the family. It is not possible for a girl to learn to manage a family from the beginning. It has to be done gradually. I am very responsible as a housewife and worker. I have come this far by fighting against various challenges. Alhamdulillah for that.
What is your worst memory as a student or worker?
My worst memory as a worker is that I did not get close to my father-in-law from the beginning to the end of the family. My father-in-law taught me how to manage the family and how responsible I had to be as a family worker.
Since then, I started gaining knowledge little by little. After a few days, my father-in-law died. I was very disappointed and broken due to my father-in-law's death. I thought how I would sustain the family when my husband was not at home. Moreover, my mother-in-law was very sick. At that time, I always felt alone. Then I started thinking to myself that if I became so disappointed and broken, my family might be damaged. So I started adapting myself according to my father-in-law's words and according to the knowledge I gained.
Mashallah I have changed a lot now. And I have tried to improve my family. My worst memory is that my father-in-law died two years ago. I had a bad time thinking about him.
