My personal opinion about New year Resolution.

I can’t imagine you not having a new year resolution, okay, chill, I was just joking. You can do whatever you like.
Resolution is known as a firm decision if you should do something or not. Resolution can also be seen as a way of determination. For example, you have to be determined to get something done within a particular period of time.

A New Year resolution is a determination and commitment that you give to something. A New Year resolution can be a list of things that you have planned to achieve before the end of the year and how you have planned to achieve it.
The New Year resolution does not really have to be too serious. It must not be money all the time as well. They can just be certain things you want to achieve.

Well, the New Year resolution is not a guarantee to a good life or achieving everything. Unfortunately, some people get carried away by a few distractions after they might have made their New Year resolutions.

It all falls back on you and how serious you take your yearly goals. For most people or some who I know, they mostly write down their New Year resolution but what if you are not determined to achieve all that you have written down so at the end, it falls back at you whether to take it seriously or they should not.

Talking about myself, the New Year resolution is futile when it comes to achieving my goals. I can’t lie about the fact that there may be distractions but at the end, I always want to make sure that I do a monthly check on myself.
I always break down my yearly goals into each months so if I don’t do well by the end of the month, I will buckle up more in the next month.

Let me say…the act of being unserious. Some people are never serious. The only time when they get serious is the first day they make their resolutions and every other day feels like a joke to them. This is why we see so many people who act seriously only on New Year day.

Secondly, life sometimes is not being fair and that’s why our plans sometimes don’t go how they should but, “when life gives you lemon, make lemonades”. That’s it! Sometimes, life hits us so hard that we may lose focus on our previous plans and just deal with our temporary battle. For example, that happened to me last year despite the fact that I am a dedicated person to my goals.

Life happens to us but let’s always have a Plan B. It takes us out of so many messes and no matter what, we should always try to achieve all our yearly goals and I pray that God be with us.
