Ignite fyp

Final Year students of 2023-24 (graduated after July 2023, or currently enrolled in 7th / 8th semester) may be encouraged to sign-up and submit their projects for approval of funding by IGNITE (Maximum: PKR. 96,800/-). The last to apply online is 2nd May 2024. Those who have registered online should submit their projects by 2nd May 2024, 4.30 PM.

CONTEXT

National Grassroots ICT Research Initiative (NGIRI) is one of the flagship programs of Ignite and is being executed successfully since 2012. This program aims to assist Final Year undergraduate students of ICT related disciplines by providing them financial assistance to build prototypes & working models for their Final Year Projects (FYPs) to increase their creativity, innovation and hands-on engineering. NGIRI program is executed in two phases that are precisely described as follows:

· In first phase; after comprehensive evaluation, FYP will be selected for funding up to Rs. 96,800/-.

· In second phase, selected FYPs from participating institutes will be invited to compete for National Championship and winners will be awarded cash prizes.

We are pleased to inform that National Grassroots ICT Research Initiative (NGIRI) 2023-24 has been launched in which submission of Final Year Projects (FYPs) are being accepted only through NGIRI Portal https://ignite.org.pk/ngiri/ w.e.f. from 01-Feb-2024 and the deadline for application submission is 02-May-2024.

Please note that the timelines for claiming expenses (relevant bills/invoices and receipts, etc.) of the shortlisted FYPs must fall between 1-Jul-2023 to 30-Jun-2024.
