RE: Die Katzenfänger von Dingsda / The cat catchers of whatnot

Wow, what an interesting story you have about stray cats.
I thought you didn't have a problem with that in your country.
It turns out that Russia has the same problems as you. Enthusiasts and volunteers take care of stray cats and dogs. There is also a woman in our city who sterilizes cats. It's just like yours.
Two weeks ago, my daughter brought home a cat. She picked it up next to the trash can. I showed her to the veterinarians I knew and left her for sterilization. I took the cat home yesterday. My daughter and I want to keep her in our house, but my wife is still against it. We already have 4 cats.

That's a sweetie too... Your wife will realise that ;-)))

Yes, it seems to be a serious problem. I've never had to deal with it directly, so I've systematically underestimated it. And if it gets to the point where diseases or parasites are transmitted, then it becomes urgent to take action.

The fact that people always have to wait until it's almost too late... ;-((
