Who Owns What in the World? Part-3
In the previous part, we have stooped by the Vanguard and BlackRock. In this part, I would try to talk about them in a bit more detail. BlackRock and Vanguard are the largest asset managers in American capitalistic history.
If combined these two companies manage about $20 trillion in assets and own most of the shares of the world's largest leading companies. These two company plays a monopoly and oligopoly in every market sector of the leading companies.
BlackRock and Vanguard are extraordinarily good for the investors of their lower costs and improved returns. The investors' investments power them in common ownership to control over the corporate sectors and potentially create oligopolistic effects in the multi-sectororal leading companies.
If we look up the shareholder lists of most of the largest companies in all sectors we will see there is BlackRock and Vanguard in common. Seeing this we can say that these two companies rule over the maximum largest companies in all sectors.
Thanks for reading my post. Special thanks to @greenman and others who are supporting me.
