Global Steem Friends.

In addition to body odor, the next body odor that is certainly disturbing is foot odor. Unconsciously when exercising or wearing various types of shoes, we actually make the soles of our feet damp, and emit an unpleasant odor. Especially if the socks are rarely changed, guaranteed that even snails will run away when they smell it 😁

Don't be lazy about changing socks. Especially if worn for days, the more bacteria. From now on, prepare more socks in your activity bag, because it is different from the climate in Europe which tends to be cold and dry.

Indonesia is a tropical country, so we sweat easily, even in air-conditioned rooms. Yes, sweat is the culprit again. The only difference is, sweat on the feet will cause an unpleasant odor that is different from other parts of the body. Usually foot odor attacks those who often wear socks and shoes for a long time.

Oh yes, foot odor is caused by bacteria that settle on the surface of the skin and shoes. These bacteria eat sweat on the feet, and produce acidic substances, which spread unpleasant odors.

Wow, if your feet smell, your confidence level will definitely drop drastically.

So I'm curious, why do we have smelly feet?

It turns out that the human body is covered in glands that secrete sweat to lower body temperature when the weather is hot. Some parts of the body have a higher concentration of sweat glands than other parts. And the feet are one of the parts of the body with the most sweat glands.

Wearing shoes complete with socks also doesn't help reduce foot odor. In fact, wearing socks can reduce the space for the skin of the feet to breathe when sweating. So the feet are damp and cause bacteria to easily settle and multiply in them.

Well, when these bacteria gather, we will release a pungent odor. And this is what makes the smell of feet disturbing.

There are three types of this gas, my friend. Namely propaphonic acid, metametiol, and isofalenic acid.

Metametiol, makes feet smell like sulfur and cheese, which is produced by dead skin.

Isofalenic acid, also spreads a cheese-like aroma and a vinegar-like odor.

While propaphonic acid, has a sour smell.

Removing foot odor is not easy, because it is related to sweat, dead skin, and bacteria. However, you can minimize it in the following ways.

If your shoes smell bad because sweat sticks to them, you can prepare tissues and coffee.

Just add a few spoons of coffee, and wrap them in tissues, then put them in your shoes.

Let it sit overnight. Believe me, the bad smell will disappear.

Coffee powder is known to be able to eliminate disturbing odors. Because coffee powder has an aroma that can neutralize other odors.

Well, to reduce sweat production on the feet, you can do the following.

Based on recommendations from the American Academy of Health, smelly feet accompanied by unbearable itching can be relieved by soaking your feet in black tea. You can use tea bags after use.

Make a soaking water and tea bags in a basin. Then soak your feet for up to 30 minutes. Tea contains acid that can narrow the pores in the feet, so that less sweat comes out.

Tea is also a natural antibiotic that can kill bacteria on the feet.

After this, avoiding smelly feet is by trying to open your shoes every chance you get. This will facilitate air exchange. The growth of bacteria and fungi can be avoided.

It's not difficult, right?

Hopefully it's useful.

Greetings always compact.
