Ibn Tain says: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to ask because the Arabs did not feel disgust when eating anything, because they had a shortage of food and drink, while the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to feel disgust with certain things. There were, that's why you used to ask, and there is also a possibility that some animals are halal and some are forbidden in the Shari'ah, and the Arabs did not know any animal as forbidden, so what is being served roasted or cooked. It could only be known by asking, so you used to ask.

3- When the food is served by the host, start eating quickly, because the honor of the guest is that the food is served to him quickly, and it is a sign of the generosity of the host that he quickly should accept the food, because if a guest did not eat in their house, they used to think bad about him, so it is obligatory on the guest to satisfy the heart of the host by starting to eat quickly.
