Replacing Thermostat of my Refrigerator - DIY
My refrigerator was not working properly for a week. I turned it off and took out everything inside. Then I cleaned it and noticed a lot of ice in the cooling area. I kept the refrigerator door open for a few hours, but the ice didn’t melt.
So I used a hair dryer to melt the ice, and it helped a lot. I am not an electrician or a mechanic, but I always try to fix small problems myself. After removing the ice, I opened the circuit area inside the fridge to check what was wrong. I found that the thermostat was causing the issue.
I gently fixed the thermostat and also changed the refrigerator light. Now the fridge is working perfectly again. I felt very happy and proud of myself for solving the problem. It was a great learning experience. I took some clips while doing this and I’m excited to share them with you.
Refrigerator after few years of use has this particular issue. I like the creative work, may be useful to me also.
