Fixing My Water Pump Pressure with a Float Switch
Good Day Everyone
For the last few weeks, my water pump pressure had become quite low, and the pressure switch wasn't turning off as it should. I tried adjusting the spring tension, but it didn’t fix the issue. For weeks, I had to turn the motor pump on and off manually.
So, I decided to get a float switch from a sanitary store. Installing it myself was simple, but initially, it didn’t work as expected. The pump wouldn’t turn on with the default weight of the switch. I ended up adding extra weight to the top ball, and that did the trick!
Now everything is working just fine, although the top lid of my tank is broken, so I had to create a custom support for the switch.
Here are some pictures of the setup. I hope you all like my DIY fix!
