Fixing Loose Battery Wire Connections
Good Day Everyone
Hello dear community members,
For the past few days, I had been planning to fix the looseness in the wire connected to my battery breaker. The wire tension was too high, and even a slight jerk would make it loose. It’s a 25mm gauge wire running between the battery and inverter.
To resolve this, I ordered a wire crimper tool and six 25mm thimbles. I also got two extra thimbles to practice on a separate wire before working on the actual battery wire.
The crimper tool turned out to be amazing—it supports 6-50mm wires and is of excellent quality. I carefully crimped the thimbles onto both ends of the wire and reconnected them to the breaker. The connection is now firm and working perfectly!
Here are some pictures of the process and the finished setup. I hope you find this post helpful. Wishing you all the very best! Thank you, and take care.
