Beauty of Creativity - Iftar Dishes.

Fasting is a special time that teaches us patience and gratitude. After a long day without food and water, iftar feels like a blessing. Some days ago, we prepared a simple and delicious iftar meal with vegetable rice and shami kabab.
Vegetable rice is a light and healthy dish. We used rice, carrots, peas and potatoes to make it colorful and tasty. First, we fried the vegetables with salt, black pepper and cumin. Then we added soaked rice and water. After cooking for a few minutes, the rice became soft and full of flavor.
Shami kababs are perfect side dish for iftar. We made them using chicken and chana dal and onions. First, we boiled the chicken and dal together. Then, we blended the mixture and shaped it into small patties. After frying, the kababs became golden brown and crispy.
When it was time for iftar, we enjoyed the meal with dates and fresh juice. The warm rice and crispy kababs made the perfect combination. The simple homemade food felt comforting and satisfying. Every meal reminds us to be grateful for the blessings.
