Black and White Stingless Bee

in Beauty of Creativity9 days ago

I found this black and white stingless bee around the bush, during afternoon time, it was quite actively flying here and there which made me spend much time to chase it. It's a bee that was busy searching for food on the wildflower. So after I parked my vehicle, I walked there while making sure my gears work fine. For a while, I waited for it to calm so I could manage to take a couple of shots. When I felt right, I aimed my lens toward it and started to focus on the place where it stood. Among many taken photos, I only found some worth sharing photos. It is called Stingless Bee which probably refer to the color of its body color. I guess, I came in late afternoon that made this insect was a bit calm, not making a lot of move that eased me to take a couple of shots of this good looking insect. I spent an inordinate amount of time observing this fascinating little creature. Sometimes this pays off with a decent photograph or with observing an interesting aspect of behavior.

I've heard that there are many types of bees, but I haven't had the chance to see many, but you shared a picture of a different type of bee with us today. Very beautiful photography.
