Anise Swallowtail Butterfly

in Beauty of Creativity4 years ago

Perhaps, this is one of our rarest and most spectacular butterflies. It can be occasionally seen flying over vegetation, and stopping to rest on the grass, or making a long stop to feed on flowers. This lovely butterfly is called the Anise Swallowtail which also similar to Citrus Swallowtail likes lots of kinds of flowers. This typical butterfly can be differently identified from other swallowtails by a large amount of black on the front portion of the fore wing and the amount of blue on the hind wing. I found it just this late afternoon in vegetation plants, and I thought that would be easy for me to catch but soon after I got a few pictures, it took off and flew away.
