In today's dynamic business environment, work life balance (WLB) has become one of the key issues faced by many employees all over the world. Maintaining work life balance is an issue increasingly recognized as of strategic importance to organization and of significance to employees.

When a person is highly satisfying with his/ her job, it means that he really likes his job, feels good about it and values his job dignity. Job satisfaction is important technique used to motivate the employees to work harder. It is often said that "A HAPPY EMPLOYEE IS A PRODUCTIVE EMPLOYEE”

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES.

The main objective of this article is to give some idea to maximize employee performance by understanding the relationship between work life balance and performance rate of the employee. With the recommendations of Private businesses, the group can develop their management practices and enhance employee performance through and over it.


In the prevailing society most of the people do not have proper family life, the main outlining reason for that is they are lacking in maintaining the balance between family life and work life. When people are living in stressful conditions they do not want to maintain proper relationships with family members. Parents forget their duties and responsibilities towards children. It leads the path to create family problems and the employees get frustrated at work due to family problems.
The major psychological problems are Occupational stress, organizational stress, common occurrences among various professions. There were significant differences in levels of job satisfaction, between male and female employees. Some level of stress is a normal aspect of day to day life. And some are Harmful stress occurs when there is a prolonged imbalance between pressure and an individual’s perceived ability to cope. Harmful stress, as thus defined, is damaging to the individual’s health. Some of this damage may be temporary and reversible, but severe stress can permanently damage the mind and the body, and leave it susceptible to other illnesses and diseases to so. Over-role this is not god for the company profit, image, vision, mission and the status too.

  1. Track Your Time lines.
Analyze your present situation and start to achieve and balanced life. Keep a time log of everything you do for one week with all private and work life things.
2. Determine Your Priorities and list it.
Analyze and list down your top priorities at work and at home.
3. Set and clear your Specific Goals.
Take the list of priorities and mark and write the measurable goals. Schedule for activities just like you would for an important meeting or a doctor's appointment.
4. Schedule Scrupulously.
You have one life. So plan your work with help of date planner and work. Spend 10 to 20 minutes at the beginning of each day for this.
5. Create some Boundaries.
Make fair and realistic borders with what you will and what you will not to do both at work and at home. Clearly communicate these boundaries to your supervisor, coworkers, partner and family.
6. Take Care of Your valuable Health.
Health is the most important thing. If you are not with good physically, mentally, and emotionally, both your work life and your personal life will damage. Take care of yourself by eating healthy meals (especially breakfast), exercise at least three times per week and sleep a minimum of seven hours per night like good health habbits.
7. Refresh Your Relationships.
Relationships with family, friends, and loved ones are, by far, the greatest source of inner satisfaction and they might be most important to refresh you.
8. Make Time for You.
Actually health, and relationships should be take priority in your life, it is also important to schedule time for your own care. Take at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted "you time." Connect with your spiritual source, Belief in God, or a higher power, can be a deep well from which to draw inspiration, listening to music or recorded books, guidance, and strength are few to do.
9. Keep Work at Work
Should practice to on-off your mental switch between work and home. This is very important thing to avoid any problems.
10. Work Smarter Not Harder.
With right combination of time-management practices can cut stress and save you up to an hour a day. Work with brain.
11. Ask for Help if you need.
Try your best and if you realize your limit, ask help from trustful person. And work to achieve your goals.
