Sure, I agree when the ecosystem is strong enough after a longer time.. But we are still in testing and it's not a good example for ordinary users ๐
I believe in a truly decentralised platform.. even it means something with a low price, but high value..
Ofcourse I'd love to see the price of 1 APX = 1 USD and I'm sure at some point we will get there.. but nit with a restrictive mentality... ๐

Absolutely! So do you say all those who sell Bitcoin if they want to buy a house or maybe a watch abuse the BTC ecosystem?? ๐ค
Bitcoin isn't a social, Bitcoin you must buy or mine before you can sell
Same with APX... Instagram is a Social App... Whereas with Appics.. we are Mining APX tokens (currently) with our post's/upvotes/comments... It's not free..
We all have to spend some effort/time to earn whatever APX Tokens we do so.. with the Proof of Brain algorithm ๐ฒ
So yes, we are currently Mining Cryptocurrency ๐
And just to make thing's clear.. I've been using App almost everyday for the past 3 year's now.. and have Bought & Earned APX token.. and never sold a single APX token.. ๐
But, the case of dis honouring or not Upvoting user's content just because they sell sounds very centralised/absurd to me.. as if we are trying to dominate who should do what with the Tokens they earn.. hence the discussion...
Maybe, in the future you may (or i may) want to sell APX.. currently you feel the price is low (hence the discussion) maybe later on the price will be 10$ (๐) and someone else may feel it is still low.. does that mean that you should be criticized for selling?? ๐ค๐ค
This is so true. There are a lot of people in third world countries that blog and post on Appics and cash out what they earn in order to survive or buy food etc. For them it's a currency more then an investment!๐ฅฐ๐ค

Currently we have only a few buyers but many who sell and the ecosystem is weak, later we'll have much more buyers (hopefully) and we can also have more sellers, so it'll be more balanced
Agreed! But, the point is - someone (most of the user's) will feel the price is still low.. and Maybe you want to sell..

It's as well a psychological sign for smaller users...
Well, the upvotes are generally for quality content.. irrespective of the user.. and depends on one's personal choice... For example.. i may not find the post of a Flower as good as a post of somebody working out or May showing some talent...
I, personally as an Ambassador myself, cannot stop upvoting on content, based on the user's Choice of selling APX.. and that would be so difficult to track too!
