Anyone that meets the regular criteria to attend a Gymnasium in Germany can study there. There are costs but for local students these are not that high. The boarding school is of course expensive as most are. It’s like 300 students in the boarding school and 500 local of a total of 800-900. They have as well several scholarships and an aid program for talented local students were the parents cannot pay the cost
