I have dogs like that. Not to me but to my grandma. When she goes out, she has to open the gate enough for her to go out. Because if she widely opens it, they will go out to. Sometimes, they find ways. I have a dog who climbs to our gate just to follow her. 😅
They can be little escape artists for sure.
