Still we can workout some math using interpolation and check APX needed for a dollar upvote if you are comfortable in sharing your current 100% vote value. You can just check by posting and voting it immediately or you can post some comment with 100% vote and see.
Looks to be in the $0.17 range .... how is the dollar value on post calculated if the actual payout in APX is not what value is on SE? Another exchange listing for price?
They say what they show on Application is ICO price. I'm not sure why they are still showing it. Lot of people complaining about updates coming late from Appics team. I'm also not sure why.

There was this guy named Masud Rana who developed a wonderful tool to know vote weight and some other important information. But it is down now.

As per my study yes!! You should go for buying rather than renting it. For 10k delegation they are charging 47 euros. With 10k delegation i see one can only get 300-400 APX in curation rewards if they use 20% of VP everyday. But if you go for direct buying I can see one can get 1740 APX at current price. Just an analysis. I may be missing something!
Hello. A 50,000 APX power with 100% upvote and at least 95% voting power can give a post a $3.00 earnings.
Have you factored in for a single or double self vote daily vs just curation rewards?

Seems @kpreddy I have stumbled upon that curiosity of ROI for renting power when value is not actual used value ... definitely gambling on purchasing and powering up vs renting for a return ๐
