My Visit to a House of Education.
My Visit to a House of Education. |

Friends, today I visited Government Insaaf Afternoon School in Mataan Wala Haveli Lakha, Punjab, Pakistan. This school is located in a small village of city Haveli Lakha where people are mostly hand to mouth. The people of this village works on daily wages(labour). But this school play an important role in educate to children of this area.
How I Got There
I have decided to go there by public bus. I reached at bus stop and waited for an hour but there was no bus for going. But I have to go, I went back home, took my motorcycle and start my journey. The rout of Haveli Lakha Hujra Road was not good, I reached school facing some difficulties. The school is in a small village, the roads were unpaved and not safe.
Entry Fee & Expenses
There was no entry fee for visiting the school. The education is also free for students. All expenses are paid by government of Pakistan. Free education is a great support for the students in the village. I did not buy anything there, so there were no additional costs to convert into Steem.
School Environment & Facilities
There were about 300 students who are divided into different classes. The classes were Nursery to grade 8. The school has a small garden, which adds a bit of greenery and beautiful flowers of different kinds to the surroundings. The classrooms were simple but full of students eager to learn. All teachers were well educated and are doing their best to educate the children with limited resources.
My Experience & Thoughts
I really learned a lot from this visit of school. Seeing students studying with dedication, even with limited facilities. This made me appreciate the power of education. The school is special to me because it provides hope and a future for the children of this poor village.
Overall, I would like to give this visit 9 marks out of 10. It was very inspiring to see how education is changing lives, even in the smallest villages.
