MY OWN VERSION OF CRISPY CALAMARES
Good day steemians!
Today, let me share to you my own version of Crispy Calamares. I will just give you a simple way of cooking Calamares.
Calamares is a spanish word which means squid. It is a famous dish especially here in Philippines because of us Pinoy loves to eat seafoods. It is typically consists of squid rings which is coated with something and deep fried until it turns golden brown and becomes crispy at first bite. Its often served with dipping sauce of your choice. It is best with a mayo + ketchup sauce.
Lets start!
✨INGREDIENTS:✨
- squid
- crispy fry
- water
- breadcrumbs
- cooking oil
✨PROCEDURE:✨
Step 1:
Clean the squid and cut it into small rings. Afterwards, pour the crispy fry into the squid rings and mix it well.
Step 2:
When it is already mixed thoroughly, dip the squid with crispy fry into the water. I just watched this on socmed that if you wanted what you fry became crispy, dip it with water. So, I followed it and it is my first time. Afterwards, roll it over the breadcrumbs.
Step 3:
In a boiled cooking oil, put the squid. It is best when it is deep fry and since thats the only oil available in the kitchen, I just make use of it.
Step 4:
If it turns golden brown already, you can now flip it over.
And this is now my finished output. And it is legit, because I dip in into the water, my calamares is so crispy and my sister loves the taste and its crispyness.
If you want to try it, just follow my simple steps and you family will surely love it.
Thank you for reading everyone and have a great day.

Saludos amiga. Una vez tuve la oportunidad de comer calamares crujientes, pero en otra presentación y es muy rico, me gustaron esos aritos.
Tu receta se ve muy buena, pocos ingredientes y pues el pan rallado le da ese toque crujiente.
