HIPHOP COMPETITION SA MACTAN
Good day steemians!
February 14 is a special date of lovers, in this date there were many couples busy preparing for their dates. But this date, is the most awaited day of Grade 10 students because they will be competing their hiphop dance. They prepared and practiced it for a month. Even we dont allow them to practice outside the campus they still do it because of their eagerness to win the competition and for them to have a good grade in their MAPEH class.
The competition started around 4 pm so that they will have enough time to prepare for their costumes, props, hairstyle and make-up.
There were 20 sections in Grade 10, and the competition ended around 7:30 in the evening. After the presentation of 20 sections, the MAPEH coordinator asked two representatives in each section for a showdown. And they will be choosing the best hiphop dancer. Afterwards, the board of judges finally announced the first 5 winners. Our section was not chosen but I am still so proud of their presentation.
But going back! When the program was about to start, I let all of them go the venue and 6 of my boy students remained in the classroom because they will be preparing something for the girls. They prepared flowers placed in the chair with 2 biscuits and 2 chocolates.
To reciprocate their efforts, I volunteered myself to do the lettering stating "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY GIRLS".
After their hiphop presentation, I let all the girls go upstairs together. And upon seeing the boys surprise, they were all shocked and amazed and I saw how grateful they were for the surprise.
In fact, after receiving the followers they went down and took a picture outside so that the crowd will saw it.
How sweet my boys were, and I am indeed so proud of them.
Though we didnt won the competition, but my girls were so happy receiving flowers from their boy classmates.
