FEELING HOPEFUL IN OUR SARI SARI STORE BUSINESS

Today, I am here outside our store. I am looking from the outside how our newly opened store looks like. When we transferred living here, we had also our store then it was closed last year due to financial problem. But just this week, May 16 we opened again our store. At first, I was hesitant to start over again because there are many competent in sari-sari store, but I just give it a try.

Sari-sari store means a little convenient store in a small village. It has basic necessities of the residents daily needs. There is a need of a barangay business permit that costs P 500.00 per year or appr662 STEEM. Since my husband is at home taking care the children while I am at work, our little store may give him another work to do. While taking care our children, we have an extra income in the store.

This is our little store just an extension of our house. The main door of our house is in the store. I have a little capital of worth P 8,000 or approximately 1k STEEMS. Our store is only small but my hope for an extra income is here. The good thing is, we are not renting, all our sales will be roll to purchase another product.

We have the sell the basic necessities of our neighbors. A little profit is part of my hope to also give the daily needs of my family,

• Rice
• Butane gas
• Egg, noddles
• Coffee and milk
• Canned goods and sardines
• Sugar and oil
• Cold drinks
• Vegetables
• Soap and detergent

This afternoon while I am in the store, I have time to look after my daughters playing outside. Kids need to expose in the nature and this afternoon is the best time to play since there is no heat of the sun in this place this time.
