The Diary game. A Day of Service, Struggles, and Solace in Nature
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
Today, I got up early in the morning because of the chirping of birds that had come to the window of my room, striking the glass panes, thinking there was an open space to enter my room. It was such an annoying noise, but very helpful for me because I was able to get up early and offer the morning prayers in congregation with other people of the society in the nearby mosque. Because of the rains in the last few days, the temperature has gone down a little, and I was quite uncomfortable with the lighter clothes I had put on. As I stepped out, I returned and put on my jacket to stay warm. After I was done with the prayers, I made supplications and headed back to my place. I straightaway got into my work of removing weeds and watering the lawn. In the places where weeds had grown deeper roots, I had to extract them along with their roots to leave nothing behind for them to regrow. After I was done with the work, I did some physical exercises and helped myself burn some calories. I was quite satisfied with the amount of physical exercise I did because the sweat I had was enough to hint at a good workout. I then waited for a while before taking a shower. I was done with all my morning chores, had my breakfast, and before I could set off for the office, I was called by my maternal aunt to accompany her to the village she is posted in.
I called my boss to take the day off from the office, as I had to help my maternal aunt and also had some other work at home, since my brother is getting married next month and a lot of preparations need to be done. I have been assigned most of the tasks as I am deeply involved in everything. My boss gave me consent, as there was nothing important scheduled for today at the office. I accompanied my maternal aunt to accomplish her task of serving and registering children belonging to poor families for the midday meal scheme, which is intended to provide healthy nutrition to underprivileged people across the country.
The area we had to visit was quite beautiful, with a landscape that was both attractive and mesmerizing. Being a nature lover, I not only helped her with the registration work but also tried to capture the area through some photographs. It’s a Scheduled Tribe area where people still live in harmony with nature and remain quite attached to it. I was truly impressed with the way they respect nature. Still, I managed to escape from the work a couple of times and enjoy some time out in the open.
It took us the whole day to finish our job, as we had to gather people from different corners of the village for the registration process. Unfortunately, the internet speed there was quite slow, and a small registration process that could have taken just a few minutes with a good network took hours. But as we had set off to accomplish our task, we didn’t return until we completed it.
It was quite cold there, and I had only worn a shirt, so I felt the chill throughout the day. A couple of times, I sat inside my car, which was quite warm, but since I had work to do, I had to keep getting out, which was quite annoying at times.
Anyway, by the end of the day, my aunt was quite happy and satisfied with the amount of work we had done. We returned home around 6 PM, after which I had to drop my aunt at the bus stand, from where she went home. I also got a chance to see my friends in the main market of the village, and later in the day, I returned home and got back to my reading of Indian Polity.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
Being an employee it's is hard to make time out in the open. You are very kind to help your aunt in doing something.
