Every Monday night, the religious atmosphere is always warm in my village mosque, Gampong Blang. The congregation from various circles come in droves to attend the routine pengajian which has become an important part of the community's life together. This pengajian event is led directly by our beloved teacher, Abati, who also acts as a preacher in every meeting.
This pengajian is not just a routine activity, but has become a space for learning and reflection for the community. With great patience and affection, Abati delivers a touching sermon, guiding us to always be on the path of Allah SWT. The themes raised are also very relevant to everyday life, starting from morals, the importance of congregational prayer, the virtue of giving alms to the role of the family in fostering a faithful generation.
Every Monday night the mosque begins to be filled with worshipers after the call to prayer for Isha is sounded. Young people, parents and even children enthusiastically sit cross-legged in the mosque, listening and taking notes on the knowledge being conveyed. This solemn atmosphere brings a nuance of warmth and closeness between fellow citizens, strengthening ties of friendship and increasing Islamic brotherhood in the community.
Our teacher Abati as a lecturer not only teaches religious knowledge theoretically, but also provides real examples in everyday life. His attitude of tawadhu, sincerity and sincerity became an inspiration for the congregation. Not infrequently after the recitation is finished, many congregants consult him directly to get advice or ask for prayers.
This routine pengajian is a moment that is awaited by the residents of my village, namely Gampong Blang. In addition to enriching religious knowledge, this activity also provides inner peace and motivation in facing various life challenges. Hopefully this activity will continue to take place consistently, bringing blessings to all of us and making our village a prosperous, religious and peaceful village.
