Attending internal meetings with village officials

Tonight I attended an important meeting with the village apparatus at our village head's office. Although the village head could not attend in person due to other unavoidable activities, the meeting still went smoothly and was represented by one of the village apparatus members who was appointed to lead the discussion.

This meeting took place in a relaxed but serious atmosphere, because the topic discussed was directly related to the plan for implementing village physical work in the 2025 budget year. This was an important moment to exchange ideas and convey input from one of the residents regarding the needs and priorities for development in the village.

In the discussion, we discussed several points that are the focus of physical development planning, such as repairing neighborhood roads, water channels and installing additional street lights in several hamlets that are still classified as having minimal lighting at night. In addition, there were also proposals regarding the construction of embankments to prevent landslides in the rice field edge area and repairing public facilities such as guard posts and community halls.

Each meeting participant was given the opportunity to express their opinions and provide input. I also conveyed some ideas and hopes from the community, especially related to equitable development so that all village areas can feel the benefits of the existing budget.

Although this meeting has not reached the final decision-making stage, this initial sharing and discussion is very important as part of a transparent and participatory planning process. It is hoped that what is planned can run well and be on target when the time comes.

Tonight's meeting ended with an agreement to hold a follow-up meeting involving more community elements and the village head directly. I went home feeling satisfied because I was able to be involved in the village development process, even though it was only through initial discussions. Hopefully every step taken will bring great benefits to the progress and welfare of the beloved village residents.
