My best moment on the second day of Eid al-Adha

Eid al-Adha always brings deep meaning and full of happiness, especially when I can be directly involved in the slaughtering of sacrificial animals in my beloved village. On the second day of Eid al-Adha this year, I feel very grateful because I was given the opportunity to contribute to helping the committee in the process of slaughtering and distributing sacrificial meat to people in need.

Since morning I have been at the slaughtering location with the committee and other volunteers. With full enthusiasm and intention of worship, we all work together to make the implementation of the sacrifice a success that has been planned long before. Three cows have been prepared by the sacrificers who sincerely want to share their fortune with the underprivileged in our beloved village.

I participated in various processes, from preparing equipment, helping to direct the sacrificial animals to cutting and wrapping the sacrificial meat. Although this work is quite tiring, all the tiredness is paid off with feelings of emotion and happiness seeing the sincere smiles of the residents who receive their share of the sacrificial meat.

This activity is not only about sharing meat, but also a moment of friendship and strengthening the sense of togetherness among local residents. We help each other regardless of background, because the main thing is the intention to do good and carry out Islamic law as well as possible.

I also feel proud because our village this time was able to maintain the spirit of mutual cooperation and the values of togetherness in every religious activity like this. All processes ran smoothly and orderly and received a warm welcome from the community in my beloved village.

My involvement in this activity is a form of social responsibility and togetherness as part of the village community. Hopefully every charity will continue for the sacrificers and bring blessings to all recipients. I hope this noble activity will continue every year and more residents will move to sacrifice and share with others.
