A new feature has been added to the service. It's called "passive reward", and now you will receive daily reward even if you don't post.
If you delegate SP to @jsup, you will receive daily upvote from the next day(timezone: GMT+9). In 23 days after posting(7 days for payout, 7 days for weekly aggregation of rewards, 7 days for power down, and 2 days for tolerance interval), you will also receive 90% of curation reward generated by your daily upvote. Remaining 10% will be reserved for passive reward distribution.
On the other hand, if you don't post, you will receive passive reward in 23 days. Passive reward will be proportional to your vote weight, which is proportional to your SP delegation.
Thus, after 23 days after SP delegation, you will receive daily STEEM rewards whether you post or not. If you posted and got daily upvote, you will receive curation reward. If you didn't post, you will receive passive reward.
Amount of passive reward will vary day by day, because the amount of curation reward generated and the number of delegators who write posts can be different everyday.
Non-posting delegators don't consume @jsup's voting power, so this will positively affect to other posting delegators because author/curation reward is proportional to voting power.
If all the delegators wrote posts, 100% of curation rewards generated for that day will be distributed to the delegators.
So, if you have some SP sitting idly, consider delegating to @jsup for daily reward. Note that the minimum possible vote weight is 0.01%, so you need to delegate approximately 1/10000 of @jsup's current SP at least.
