Horns (antennae) that extend beyond the body
Clearly visible in this photo is a beetle with its long horns. This beetle is resting by gripping a pale cream colored cable. This beetle is grayish brown and has a faint pattern so that it gives the impression of a bark-like texture.
In this photo we can also see, where this beetle has long horns or antennae. The beetle's antennae seem to exceed its body. The beetle's antennae are seen extending to the side of its body. This beetle has sturdy legs to support the beetle's body.
From its body shape, this beetle is a type of wood beetle. From the shape and characteristics that we can see in the photo in the post that I shared, maybe this beetle is classified as a type of Acalolepta genus beetle. This type of beetle is usually found in Southeast Asia with varying patterns, colors and textures, so this can help us to help this beetle camouflage among plants or trees. In my personal opinion, this little creature is very interesting in adapting to the environment in finding food and avoiding prey.
This beetle photo has a brownish yellow background and there are some dark spots and faint pink. The background is a wall that has been painted with that color. So this is not natural because there is an influence of the paint color. There is a little lighting so this creates a shadow effect under the beetle's body.
