The diarygame 25-3-2025: A visit to my friend bird farm /shopping for food stuff.

Having a good day over here, we have entered rainy days though not fully, the weather was calm with cool breeze making sleep very enjoyable. Couple with holidays from school runs. I didn't border checking my usual waking up time.

When I finally wake up from my bed it was 6.50am. I freshened up and prepare for shop.

When I got to my shop, I discovered that my egg wouldn't be enough for today's sales , I called my friend who informed me last month about her poultry business. I visited and she wasn't at home I called her on phone she permitted me to enter the farm with her children and pick some eggs.

At first I was scared of entering the farm as the chicken were rushing us. When the daughter entered I picked courage to enter and check how the layers are doing.

The business is doing well , but she complained about capital which I know it's always the problem in any business.
After picking the eggs , I moved to fish section where I saw her fish doing wonderfully well.

I bought the eggs well compared to the previous place where I normally buy.

My afternoon.

Today is my cooking day, and I visited our market to buy some things for preparation of Editan soup., The soup is one of the most cooked foods in my state of residence, I wasn't brought up with this kind of soup, but marriage made me love this soup anywhere I see it. The medicinal value of this particular soup made it the top soup in Akwaibom.

Here are the things needed for the cooking of this food/soup.

• Water leaf
• Editan leaf
• Stock fish
• Fresh pepper
• Meat preferably (goat or cow meat)
• Dry fish
• Periwinkle (optional)
• Crayfish (optional)
• Red oil (AKA) palm oil.
• salt
• Seasoning cubes
• Water

After purchasing some of these ingredients I went home to cook the food. This is what to consider when cooking this soup.

The editan leaf has a very bitter taste,as such it requires thorough washing with hot water or native ash. If not properly washed it will give the soup a bitter taste which some people may not like**.

Today's evening breeze wowed me, it was like people leaving by the riverside, it was just coming with touch of cold, I can't dispute the fact that it's the type weather I enjoy most, on a second thought I was thinking maybe it will rain in the midnight.
