Greetings friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I salute the moderator and organiser of this contest, @shahariar1, for playing a good and dynamic role in this community. Today, I have decided to draw a Leopard which is part of the Animal kingdom. Below is my presentation sir.

What Is Leopard
Leopards are big and strong animals that look like cats. They are closely related to lions and Tigers. Leopards have brown, pale yellowish to dark golden fur colours with black spots on its body. They are carnivorous in nature.

Fact about Leopard

  • They can live for 21–23 years.
  • They have a unique language of communication.
  • Leopards are solitary animals.
  • Leopards can run very fast.
  • They like to spend time in trees
  • The black spots on Leopards are called Rosettes
  • A female Leopard is called a leopardess.
  • A baby Leopard is called a cub.

Materials For Drawing

  • Plain A4 paper
  • Pencils
  • Colours
  • Eraser
  • Sharpener

Step 1
I began my drawing by sketching the leopard. In my sketching, I began with the centre of the head, followed by the two ears, the face and part of the body.

Step 2
In this step, I first drew the two eyes and then the eyelids. I then drew the nose and the mouth. Finally, I shaded the nose brown using a pencil colour and then coloured the nostril black using a 10B pencil.

Step 3
Here, I shaded the eyelids black, and for the remaining part of the eye, I used brown and yellow colours.

Step 4
I shaded the entire face of the leopard brown using a pencil colour.

Step 5
At this step, I used a 6B and 10B pencil to shade the black spots on the face of the leopard.

Step 6
I shaded the ears of the leopard. I used brown, and orange colours and a 10 B pencil. I also shaded some black spots around the mouth.

Step 7
In step 7, I shaded the body of the leopard. I used a brown and yellow colour for this.

Step 8
I shaded the black patches or spots on the entire body of the leopard.

Step 9
I rounded up my drawing of the leopard by drawing the long hairs (whiskers) on its face.
