At a time when a virus is making human survival an uphill task in the real world, staying inside and fighting to survive in the digital realms of PUBG MOBILE seems sane. Fighting it out with lakhs of players as well as explore the different gameplay modes in the game is a great way to kill time during the lockdown period. However, if you are getting bored of playing the same stuff repeatedly, then there’s some positive news. A new game mode is coming to PUBG MOBILE.

The PUBG MOBILE team has teased out a new in-game mode that’s coming soon to everyone. The mode is called the “Cold Front Survival” and it will be released with an upcoming update, which is said to hit the stable servers on April 16. Nothing has been shared about this mode as of now, apart from the teaser which shows a couple of players battling out a snowy blizzard.

It seems that the Cold Front Survival is similar to the survival mode that’s present on the Chinese version of the game. This mode will take place in the Vikendi map where players in a squad of four will be left to fend for themselves. Not only will they have to watch out for enemies, but the game will throw a deadly coldwave that will keep depreciating the life of the players.

Players may have to hunt for wood in order to light a fire, which will prevent players from dying in the coldwave storm. Speculations suggest that players may also need to fight animals, but that seems far fetched given that the game does not have animals in any mode so far.
