Steemkids community update #4 for the month of may 2022

It is week #4 already in this month of May and we are glad that we are still here, moving forward with much vibes. We hereby present our weekly update of the activities that went on in our community over the past week.

OUR COMMUNITY PURPOSE / AGE ELIGIBILITY FOR KIDS

As we may well know, our community purpose has always been to improve and better the lives of kids through steemit. To gather them together and teach and reward them. We are happy that the kids are indeed learning from us and we keep trying our best to improve in every way.
All posts, all the contests and most recently, all tutorials and lessons are aimed at educating these young ones and giving them opportunity to learn while being rewarded.

We continue to verify kids who are between the ages of 13-19 and we try our best to assist them to be good bloggers since they will replace us in the future.

OUR CURATION ACCOUNT / CLUB STATUS

Our community curation account still remains @steemkidss. With this account, we have been giving out updates and curating publications to support them. We have also been growing the steempower through powerups, delegation and beneficiary percentages by members who have our best interest at heart.

We sincerely appreciate all the supports that we have been receiving from the chief curators including booming accounts. This has kept us moving. Truly speaking, steempower is the live blood of communities. Steemkids have grown over the months. Below is the screenshot of our curation account stat from steemworld page

From the screenshot above, you will notice the following:

• Our steempower is 108,724.63sp

• Out owned steempower is 29,510.71 sp. We are just 500 steem away from reaching 30k steempower and that is 6x dolphin 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬. We can't wait to get there. We were able to get there today because we just powered up 200 steem as can be seen from the screenshot below

• Our voting CSI is 12.2. we made 122 upvotes on 70 accounts in the last 7 days.

We appreciate all our delegators who has kept their delegation with us and this has increased the value our curation account can add to a Publication per upvote. We try to appreciate them with delegation rewards as much as our resources can carry. We have sent them their delegation rewards for the past week. The screenshots are below

We still maintain the club75 status for our community account. we want to encourage every member to also to be in at least club75 or club100. Lets keep powering up to grow higher and to support each other.

Ongoing classes for the kids

Our steemkids-edu project is still ongoing and we have ongoing lessons in the community. We already have teachers publishing the lessons.

We want to encourage all the tutors to always release their lessons as soon as the current one pays out just as most of them are already doing. This will show our seriousness. We appreciate you all so much and we hold you all dearly in our hearts.

We invite all the kid to participate in these lessons as it will be to their own benefit. Also we will try to be rewarding the participants with upvotes from the community account and we will submit as much as we can to the booming account.

We encourage you all to continue participating in the community dynamics, we will do our best to support you in the little ways we can and please remember to use the hashtags of the community curators and you might get support from them.

As a community, we value whatever it is that will help grow steem and as such, we support the proposal of @rosz in her post here which has been supported by @steemcurator01. All we understand is that change is constant and we will make the needed changes or adjustments to support steemgrowth and thus help the kids to learn same. @ngoenyi has said it all in her post here. Weas a community are loyal supporters of steem burn and as such, we have set 25% beneficiary to @null to encourage all to take part in it.

Our Plan For Next Week

We will like to apply for the community engagement challenge for June. It is our desire to be selected as the our team has expressed willingness to support the engagement by reviewing all publications within 12 hours of publication. We pray that we are selected.
