The power of giving stars to Children.
Hello, my beloved Steemian parents. I've come to wake you up for a minute. That is not for anything else but for your children's development and well-being.
Our children also like to be praised, just as much as the rest of us do. When they do something good, they are waiting for someone to say, “Well done.". We must thus show our children appreciation when they perform well. We can use a very simple technique to motivate our kids: giving them a star as a reward.
Therefore, if you are a parent or a teacher, you can use the stars to appreciate their work. When a child writes very neatly, solves any math problem, or draws a nice picture, we can encourage them by giving them a star. This is not only applied to education work but also to daily behavior. For example, if your children neatly organize their playroom after playing, you can give it a star. These small rewards excite them to do better the following time.
It's really simple to give stars. You might tell them out loud, "You got a star from me," or you can use stickers or write a star in their book or on a list.
Those days, I maintained a chart. When my kids performed well, I marked it with a star in the relevant line in the chart. For example, when they completed their schoolwork on time, I offered them a star. When the elder brother took care of his younger brother without fighting, I gave stars to both. I used to assign them little tasks, such as bringing clothing from the garden, cleaning their play area, setting up their table and closet, etc. When they finished them well, I used to offer them stars. As soon as the chart was full, I gave them small gifts or special food. This influenced positive behavior and kept my kids motivated.
Consider how simple it is. Without scolding and punishing them always, we can guide them in the right direction. This will help both children and parents to live without stress. Star helps children stay in confidence. They can trust them since they know they are good when they get a star. Do you know that even a small star can bring a smile to your kid’s face?.
Giving stars should not be limited to perfect work. Children should be given stars for trying, improving, and doing their best. This will teach them that both winning and trying are very important.
In the end, a simple star can do wonderful things. This will motivate children to feel loved, proud, and excited to learn more. Therefore, my dear parents, let’s give more stars to our kids and make them shine as real stars in the sky.
