Introduction
Good evening to you all.I am sure you are all fine.We have gone far in our lesson series and we aren't going back.We are shall continue to make progress so that nobody will dread Mathematics anymore. This lesson is for week 8 in the series.
This week we shall look at the topic LCM of Algebraic Terms. For the past two weeks, our topic has dwelled on different forms of equation. This week we are going learn how to find the LCM of algebraic terms.
LCM of Algebraic Terms
Anyone that has been following my lesson series will recall that in week 3 we treated LCM of Numbers. So with that knowledge,it would be very easy to understand this particular topic. It is almost the same procedure. The difference is that today's topic involves both numbers and letters while that of week 3 involves only numbers.
LCM stands for lowest common multiple.it is the lowest or smallest common multiple between two numbers.
So when performing the division in finding LCM of Algebraic terms,we start with numbers and once the numbers are exhausted,we then use the alphabets to divide until we get to 1.
It is important to note that the sole objective of the lesson is to help the students to understand how to find LCM of algebraic terms. There is no doubt that good understanding of topic will equip the student to solve other mathematical problems even in the future.I have also made a video to help you understand it better.
👆This video will help you to understand the topic
At this juncture.Let us carefully look at some practical examples which would help us to understand the topic very well.
NB:I have made a YouTube video that will help make the understanding much more easier.Endeavour to see the video.
See other examples here on paper.

Thank you for your lessons. I believe Steemkids are gaining valuable knowledge from it. However, I urge you to find a better way of presenting your calculations rather than the handwriting on paper.
Thanks for going through the lesson.I will look into better ways for the calculations @reminiscence01
Alright man. Looking forward to that.
@samuel20, ease rate the kids participation so they their entries can be upvoted before they expire
